My name is Francisca Pawirodimedjo. I'm a full-stack developer, Web3 builder, and SaaS architect based in Paramaribo, Suriname — and I carry something into every project that most developers don't: fifteen years of lived experience inside real businesses, working in the same pressures, decisions, and operational realities that my clients face every day. That experience is not a footnote to my technical work. It is the foundation of it.

My career began in commercial roles — sales, marketing, accounting, finance, and business development — across a range of industries in Suriname and the wider Caribbean. I worked with industrial companies, trading firms, aviation services, entertainment brands, and financial institutions. I managed client pipelines, led teams, oversaw budgets, and drove business development from the ground up. In every role, I was close to the decisions that shape how a company moves: what to invest in, where the growth levers are, which partnerships matter, and how to communicate value to the market. Those years gave me something that time in a codebase alone cannot: a deep, practical fluency in how businesses operate, compete, and grow. And that fluency now informs everything I design and build.

The Next Chapter
Engineering with commercial purpose.
In 2022, I co-founded Unity Labs and stepped into the role of CTO. This was the moment where my business background and my technical drive came together in a meaningful way — and where I committed fully to software engineering as my primary discipline. I built my technical skills the way I built my commercial ones: by doing real work, in real environments, with real stakes. I learned through shipping. Through debugging at midnight. Through making decisions about architecture that would matter six months down the line. And I brought the same commercial mindset to every technical choice — asking not just "does this work?" but "does this serve the people and the business it's built for?" Today I design and ship software across the full stack — web, mobile, blockchain, and enterprise systems — with the kind of business awareness that makes the difference between a product that works technically and one that creates genuine value.

Unity Labs is a Web3 ecosystem I co-founded with Donovan Moncherie in 2022. As CTO, I lead the technical vision — architecture, smart contract development, platform engineering, and product decisions. But Unity Labs is, at its heart, a team effort, and I want to be clear about that. Together with a talented group of engineers, designers, and community builders from around the world, we have grown something genuinely meaningful: a community of over 4,000 active members, a suite of production blockchain products, and a reputation built on showing up and delivering — week after week, session after session.

What does success actually look like six months after launch? Those questions shape the architecture, the feature priorities, the design decisions, and the timeline.
